yumbackend.py taking up 100% of the CPU

I was one of the people with this issue.

How I fixed it?

# yum remove apper

APPER is the cause of the yumBackend.py process.

Once I removed it, the problem was solved.

Since I don’t use PackageKit I had no problem removing this package. I rather use yumex for yum gui.
